Covid precautions

We would like everyone who attends the reunion to have all of the vaccinations and boosters that they are qualified to have.  If anyone in your family has covid we regretfully ask that you quarantine with them at home.  Masking and social distancing will be encouraged as warranted by conditions at the time of the reunion.  We welcome comments, suggestions and solutions that you feel could help keep everyone safe

  1. If anyone planning to come intends to be present *WITHOUT* having been fully vaccinated and boostered, I expect them to say so. Now. I promise to not be judgy, and will not see the disclosure as an invitation to debate, but I flat need to know before I make my own plans.

Likewise, if anyone planning to attend has environmental restrictions that the other of attendees should know about, Jane has been very gracious in opening up this platform for us to share details. If you use scented essential oils, if you have a comfort animal coming with you, if you need gluten-free food or meals, if you need everyone to stay quiet in the residence from 8PM to 10AM, if you need it, et cetera, tell us, so we can accommodate or plan our presence accordingly.

  2. Being vaccinated and boosted is a prerequisite for accepting the invitation to the reunion for all those eligible to receive the shots. When we signed the lease, we agreed to no pets. Listing significant allergies is a good idea. For example if Laura Babcock were coming, we would request that the house be a no peanut zone. Many allergies can be handled more privately and quietly. (I will leave home my lavender oil, because I know that it is a problem for some.) Headphones and earplugs may be helpful. We can designate nighttime quiet zones. With communication, cooperation and kindness we can keep problems from arising and resolve anything that comes up. The reunion is an opportunity to learn how to love each other. We all have weaknesses and imperfections. We all need love,loyalty,long-suffering, trust, tolerance, faith, forgiveness and fun. We can work together to have a successful reunion.
